About UsedAOLDisk
UsedAOLDisk is a curated storefront for retro tech, 90s nostalgia and vintage-styled gifts. We do not try to list everything: we list 132 pieces we would happily give to someone, grouped into five collections so a gift can be found in a couple of minutes rather than an afternoon.
What we sell
Two kinds of things. Genuine originals — sealed floppy disks, collector tins, period hardware — and modern reissues or retro-styled pieces built with period-correct materials, such as walnut-cabinet Bluetooth radios and typewriter-key mechanical keyboards. Every listing states which of the two it is, because a reissue described as an original is a broken promise, not a bargain.
How we verify authenticity
Before an item is listed it is checked against original packaging, model numbers and period-correct materials. If a piece cannot be confirmed as a genuine original or an officially licensed reissue, we do not list it.
How condition is graded
- Mint — unused, frequently still sealed.
- Excellent — light shelf wear only, fully functional.
- Good — visible age with full working function; scuffs, fading and replaced parts are described before you buy.
How orders are fulfilled
Orders are fulfilled through our trusted retail partner with tracked worldwide dispatch, so checkout, payment and delivery run on established retail infrastructure. Fragile vintage media and glass are double-boxed with protective padding at no extra charge. Prices are shown live at checkout because retail pricing on these items moves week to week.
Returns
Returns follow the fulfilling retailer's standard policy, typically 30 days from delivery for items returned in the condition received. If something arrives damaged, email [email protected] and we will help resolve it.
How we earn
UsedAOLDisk earns a commission when you buy through our links, at no extra cost to you. It never changes what we list — see the affiliate disclosure for the full detail.
